Catching up!

As you guys know things are always busy at camp BD. And recently they were even more so.

With moves, a wedding and promos there was really no time for sitting! But we are going to fill you in immediately. Who got married? The owners of BD Catering that's who! Chef Ed and I got married in a beautiful seaside ceremony. It was fabulous and I will definitely share all off the lovely foodie details as soon as we get our photos from the photographer!

So we have moved our location a little closer to the city with lots more room and we celebrated 1 year of operation! Happy Birthday to us =)

For our birthday we ran some giveaways on our facebook fan page and at the end of the year we will host a party for all of our amazing clients. So where shall i start..... I will start by sharing a yummy recipe for 'Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies" with you! We used this recipe to make "Chocolate Mousse Sandwiches" and they were truly scrumptious!

Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 cups Flour
1tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Cocoa
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Butter
3/4 Granulated Sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 eggs

Method:

Preheat oven at 350 degrees F.
Cream the butter and the sugars together until white.
Mix in the eggs one at a time, add vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda) together and fold into mixture.
Using an ice cream scoop, place your cookie dough mounds on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10 mins.

And then YUMMALICIOUSNESS!
